At Zendesk I started with a fantastic experience, consistently exceeding my quota and thriving in a high-performance, customer-focused culture. The compensation structure was strong, and the environment fostered growth and success. However, after being sold to a private equity firm, things changed—compensation declined, the culture deteriorated, and territory assignments became illogical, making success increasingly difficult. What was once an exciting, high-growth company began to feel like a sinking ship, prompting my decision to explore new opportunities.
