Your experience depends on the territory and director/VP. I experienced a total lack of transparency, micromanagement but no real support in deals, and spent a vast majority of time and energy trying to get support from internal teams. Cannot rely on BDR team so there's a heavy prospecting load as well.

Leadership micromanages quite a bit. There is multiple instances where youd have to fill out 8 or more powerpoints about accounts, 7 excel sheets to track everything although we have automated tools that do that, and more.

Darktrace has invested tremendously in Salesforce, in training its employees, and in marketing this year. It has all helped the sales side, but CS doesn't have the benefits of the business transformations yet. We'll get there. The bigger problem is that the comp plans this year don't actually encourage anyone to go above and beyond- they're all about risk mitigation...Read More
