The recruiter and my boss left before I started. My bosses boss left within 30 days. The entire team which was supposed to be hitting their number had mostly left the team. So I started with brand new people and underperforming team. I was asked to do the Q1 forecast on day 2 for Day 3. I was asked to lie about my forecast to make numbers look better and scolded when I gave what I felt was an honest and clear status of the team.

OTV can be appealing, but it’s a stretch to get to your quota. Improving the sales culture and development for BDRs and AEs could help the company.
