Semrush leadership no longer values internal knowledge and has shifted focus to trying to hire "perfect" reps externally vs developing the desired sales skills internally. Most new rep and leadership hires have worked with the new leadership at previous companies putting internal reps at a disadvantage. Leadership is very disorganized and does not deliver important information in a timely manner. Semrush has monthly quotas and it was very common for the sales team to learn their new quota on the 22nd of a month (unacceptable). The product is top tier and dominates its market. I have lots of respect for the founder of Semrush and have truly enjoyed watching the company grow. I believe the Sales Organization has a long way to go before I'd consider it a top tier Sales Org. I currently don't believe the leadership team is taking the necessary steps to become the level of Sales Org they want to be.

Dear Sender, Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We truly value internal growth and make it a priority to recognize and reward top-performing sales reps. At the same time, hiring external talent is a natural and important part of building a diverse, high-performing team. When it comes to communication, we strive to share updates openly and on time, and we’re continuously working to improve in this area.
