Former Employee Your experience will depend entirely on your manager and the level of effort you put into understanding the technical aspects of the platform. Reps who know what they’re doing often hit quota. However, there is a problem with sexism. Women ICs will not be taken seriously when presenting new ideas and will probably be called abrasive for providing the same feedback that men are praised for. And there is a general lack of trust between AEs, managers and the supporting roles. Asking for help will often be met with questions and require extensive justification before anyone will actually assist. I think a lot of this is because the product is complex and onboarding is unhelpful so they get a lot of stupid requests, but it’s also because middle management often knows less than the reps themselves. Instead of helping us find the solution, they’ll just deny that a problem exists because they don’t understand it. In general, the exec team is pretty helpful if you skip the mid-levels and go to them for support. Hopefully the new CRO helps - I’d recommend he take a good hard look at everyone reporting to him and fire the boys club. Browse Other Reviews
