Current Employee Majority of AEs are in an anxious mental state and not making money. Here’s why: quota is almost unachievable but management will never address this. The number of reps who made quota on my team last quarter was closer to 0 than 5. We are majority being paid out base only. Management does not deal with missed targets by inspecting for the root cause, instead trivialities are added to the AE workload and failure to address there is not a strong market fit with new products acquired and incredibly high market saturation with our core product. So many hard-working and talented peers are fired or exit because management does not know how to properly lead and check-in with their reps, mid-level managers have become increasingly less invested with AEs as humans and only care about deals.
