Former Employee 1Password has been the best stop in my career so far. I was part of the SMB segment, which is incredibly well led, the Director is the strongest leader I’ve worked under, and the managers follow that example. The segment is well-organized, efficient, and consistently top-performing.
In terms of quota: if you put in the work, it’s absolutely attainable. I spent six quarters at 1Password, and in four of those I hit 125%+. My first quarter landed at 80% during ramp, and my last quarter was under due to a few larger deals I was betting on falling through.
There’s a healthy amount of inbound in the SMB segment, but the people who struggle often rely solely on that and don’t put in the extra outbound effort. Those who do outbound consistently and focus on improving will find real success,quarter after quarter.
The culture, the products, and especially the leadership at 1Password make it a great place to grow and thrive. If you’re driven and take ownership of your pipeline, you’ll exceed your goals. I’m proud of my time there and grateful for the opportunities I had.
