Pluses and minuses- they have reduced the good spifs this year and it’s hard to blow your number out in an increasingly competitive environment where cloud is now a mature product. Aws is a solid product though- it’s well respected by Enterprise customers but is seen more and more like IBM- won’t get fired for picking it, but no longer cutting edge.

Overall experience has been incredible at AWS. Unless a customer decides to leave, you can coast and hit a good % of your OTE. Work/life balance is important there. Since I started in 2020, culture has changed for the worse and the org feels bloated. We keep rinsing and repeating the same motions, with no innovation.
