Former Employee Working at AWS in the Public Sector team in Spain was a great experience. The company attracts some of the best and brightest minds in the industry, creating a highly dynamic and innovative work environment. The resources, training, and internal support are top-notch, providing employees with everything they need to succeed.
That said, depending on the territory, the sales targets can be extremely challenging, sometimes feeling disconnected from the actual market potential. While AWS offers strong brand recognition and a compelling product portfolio, the local public sector landscape and procurement processes can make it difficult to achieve the aggressive goals set by leadership.
Overall, AWS is an excellent place to work for those looking to grow their careers in cloud technology, but success can be highly dependent on the specifics of your assigned territory.
