They constantly revise the compensation to find ways to pay AE's less. There used to be accelerators for selling Zero Trust products. There used to be larger accelerators for multi-year deals. Overall, there is very high turnover and 80% of the AE's are not hitting quota. The AE's that crush their number are based in the West Coast or they have large digital customers. Good tech, terrible management of GTM and compensation.

Cloudflare isnt perfect and has some issues, but its not the worst sales org out there. Id give it a 75% if I had to grade it.

Absolute dumpster fire of a sales org with no accountability from leadership just finger pointing at reps. Literally no one knows how the products are priced and you are always competing against the self-serve plans, which are very robust. Would rather fire and rehire every 6months than make very simple systemic adjustments to remove very obvious inhibitors of rep...Read More
