Current Employee Sales Operations is intended to support sales productivity, but in practice, the growing administrative demands have created unintended inefficiencies. Account Executives are now spending nearly as much time on internal reporting as they are on actual selling. Some sales managers seem more focused on ensuring reporting accuracy than actively driving sales.
