Former Employee I DO NOT recommend selling at Databricks. The overall culture is excellent, driven by top upper management and excellent products.
However, it is a technology company run by technologist all of whom have little regard for salespeople. The comp plan is a moving target and reps are consistently behind on their quota - most won’t make their nut. They stay because of the pending IPO - and associated grants - and we all believe the technology will win the day resulting in that payout. The later won’t happen.
If you are offered a job here, don’t walk away - run.
