Whats the deal with this 'AI Focused Sales Unit' ... is that real? or just an excuse to give cover to layoffs?

Got recently promoted to Dell NGSA inside account executive (not field). With the recent RTO, increased metrics, trash pay - it seems Dell is a sinking ship. Is it in my best interest to be in this role for a year (get closing experience and AE title) and then leave?

Interviewing for a role advertised as remote. I've seen some reviews mentioning RTO policies. Is remote work currently allowed?
