Overall it’s a solid company to work for if you want some stability. But your manager needs to like you, or else you won’t get promoted. Quotas are next to impossible to attain unless your manager is giving you their old customers. You will not make 6 figures working at dell. But you may win a popularity contest! If you’re fresh out of college, the goal is to get promoted in the first year. If you don’t, you will most likely be put on a performance plan, and offered a severance to leave. That’s why your manager needs to like you.
