I have worked in sales and the issue with this role is that you are stuck in this role with no way to honestly live off of this single wage. There is no opportunity to land no business and you will have deals snatched away from you if they deem it to be someone else's. Little to no sales training.

Fantastic people work at Dell and they are viewed as a top product. Lots of fear because of the continued layoffs every 6 months.

My overall experience for my last role at Dell was not the best. The product, while at first seems like a good solution, ultimately did not fit well for the current market. As a result the team of AEs selling this solution was cut by 65%.
