Current Employee Being a large company - Dell has a lot of resources to pour into their new hires and tenured folks alike. It is wise to start your career in a place like Dell that has a strong culture and management structure. You can gain so much more than a paycheck with a big name like Dell.
We work with a large account set in small business, somewhere between 600-900 accounts usually. I have about 700, and most of them have purchased from Dell in the past.
There are multiple segments within SB sales, but the majority of reps operate in the ISAE (Inside Sales Account Exec) role. You will be challenged to manage your time well, as you have to wear a lot of hats - being all things to the customer
Lastly, Dell has recently undergone a geographic realignment, so this past quarter - nearly all ISAE's have received new accounts. This makes it difficult for both the customer and the sales rep alike - but is an intentional move from Dell as they are restructuring SB for the future. Browse Other Reviews
