Former Employee Overall, DocuSign was a great company, especially when I first joined. However, it has faced increasing challenges over time and now feels like a slow-sinking ship. While DocuSign remains a market leader in the eSignature space, its efforts to establish itself as a broader platform have consistently fallen short, making it difficult to stay competitive.
One of the major challenges is a clear disconnect between sales leadership and frontline sellers. There is immense pressure to push and expand advanced products, often regardless of whether they meet the customer’s actual needs. This approach creates a difficult environment where integrity can sometimes feel compromised to close deals.
Additionally, favoritism within the organization is apparent. If you're assigned a less favorable book of business, support can be minimal, and the company often shifts blame onto individual sellers rather than acknowledging systemic issues.
Given these factors, I would recommend approaching opportunities at DocuSign with caution.
