Current Employee Docusign’s sale org historically has been in a great middle ground for SaaS - not too niche, not too much of a commodity, and not too technical. It’s been a great place to grow a sales career and with the new offerings, it’s opened up a ton of opportunity for fun and big deals. Accelerators are awesome and benefits are great.
Unfortunately, each year the culture gets progressively worse. In the current FY, this seems like a breaking point. RVPs are consistently managing up and propping up 1 - 2 reps on their team to help with their image at the expense of the other 5-6 reps on their team. Also, the normalization of straight up lying to customers promoted by middle managers is so tiring.
The last restructuring gave SMB reps a ton of upmarket, close to $1b annual revenue accounts which is a double edge sword - potential for bigger deals but slower sales cycle (while on a monthly quota).
Still, Docsusign is a great place to work in the grand scheme of things and I’m hopeful things will change for the better, but I think if it doesn’t happen this next FY it won’t ever. Browse Other Reviews
