As an AE at DocuSign, some much of your success was territory based. DocuSign based territories on geography within verticals while keeping quotas the same for everyone so whoever got plus territories killed it and others languished.

Culture, leadership, and ability to hit quota has declined significantly at DocuSign over the last few years. Success really depends on which team you're on. Around 1-2 people out of 10 hit quota on the Newco team, while about 100% of the install team consistently hits, but management can't admit that there is a mismatch in goal-setting.
