The Americas SDR team at Dynatrace is rough right now. New Global SDR Director bumped up the quota, works remote, never shows his face. He actually tricked the SDR org when he joined to think we would make more money, we all made less. Opportunities to move into closing roles or other departments are few and far between, lots of internal networking, etc is required to move from the role. New SDRs come in fired up, and get burned out in a year once they realize they have another 2 years till they get promoted, and the quota keeps getting harder and harder.

Would not advise joining. Path to closing role near impossible. Avoidant culture, hard to find an answer to anything. Nobody really seems like they want to be here makes going into the office depressing. Very low quota attainment makes over earning difficult. Accounts snatched and deals reassigned at closing level.

Great vibe and culture. Competent leadership and awesome product fit, with great future outlook. It’s still in growth mode and a bit to focused on selling functions and features, as well as a bit to focused on the competition, but it seems to be moving in the right direction
