Fastly was an amazing place to work. New leadership especially in the sales organization has torn apart just about any hope of ever making money, making matters worse -- I'm not sure that there is a single sales rep at Fastly that benefits from these changes. They are lowering base pay for new reps, the product is incredibly technical and requires long times to ramp. CEO to SVP of sales are all from Cisco and think the place is ready to be Cisco, its not. The product has a long way to go before they can do that.

Great benefits / pay but tough to sell. Crowded and commoditized space where majority of companies are with Cloudflare and Akamai and not looking to leave. Success is heavily dependent on territory (ie: big, progressive cities with SAAS and e-commerce targets).
