Current Employee Gartner has a great product-market fit. Our clients love the research, analysts, and events we offer. Gartner has very disciplined processes and KPIs/metrics that they track that don’t often reflect the intended outcomes. Leadership is aware that most metrics and KPIs are nonsense and they typically support you in “checking the boxes” so the upper leadership we don’t meet with that reviews KPIs stays happy. Who your manager and VP are will significantly affect your experience at Gartner. Unfortunately, they don’t allow you to meet your manager or VP (that you report to) during the interview process. Most leadership I work with, in my experience, are good leaders. There are some bad apples though.
