My overall impression of GitLab hasn't been very positive. While I appreciate the team and the company's culture, it seems that GitLab hasn't yet found widespread acceptance in the market, particularly among enterprises in emerging markets outside of the US, UK, and DE.

GitLab still wants to come across as a cool company, but the moment shit hits the fan, they loose it completely. Micro Management, threats and change of policy without warnings. Quite a normal SaaS company at the end, just be aware.
