terrible. sales development leadership is clueless and apathetic. not worth joining unless you’re in public sector. currently in the financial services team and have seen many people go.

GitLab is a fun place to work. As an outbound BDR inbound leads are not existent and will have to work hard to get to quota. As far as compensation goes, it's fair for the location you are based in. SLC BDR for example would make less than a BDR in Seattle.

The product is actually really good, but it just doesn't feel like a NEED for customers. Although it can make you more efficient, secure, etc. does it actually make sense ripping and replacing GitHub or AzureDevOps? Typically not.
