Former Employee GitHub is and was a great place to be as a new and even experienced AE but has recently started to deteriorate due to sky high rev growth expectations.
Recently, it has become a meat grinder with BDR's and AE's getting chucked out for various reasons where previously it had a stable core of employees. As its started to scale there's been a lot of bottlenecks in promotions and absurdly high quotas which is causing an absurd amount of turnover, promotions, firings, the whole lot.
it's sad because what was once a great sales org with a great culture has fallen victim to their revenue goals and sacrificed culture and employee work life balance just to meet said goals.
it still is a great place to get started but don't bank on your long term career being there
