Former Employee Struggling to sell in the public sector space due to extremely strong incumbents. Management has unrealistic expectations on growth.
Sales engineers feel like they are held more accountable than sellers when it comes to breaking into accounts(!) Your performance review is strictly tied to your quota attainment.
Public sector org is really a professional services sales org. They haven't figured out that we're in the technology business and think of the org as services-led. This means we don't do anything for free and every cloud said is accompanied by multiplies more of services work. Browse Other Reviews
