Great people with long tenure. IBM has managed a solid culture by hiring great people who are willing to assist at every level. They missed the boat for being a competitive hyperscaler in the cloud space but have made strong acquisitions and good investments in quantum computing.

the product fit greatly depends on indsutry trends and country level demand. Culturally local office is not too bad, but it depends on the people you work with as well.

Working at IBM can vary widely. The current environment is very PIP-heavy - If you are a certain pay band, the minimum attainment to avoid a PIP could be as high as 80 to 90 percent.
