My overall experience was challenging. We were a new team and were given a high quota and no real sales tools to achieve it. My team was not given a CRM, or any kind of comprehensive account list. We keeps track of our thousands of prospect accounts (half of which were nonviable) with a shared team excel sheet. Commissions were also split by our manager out of a shared pool, which was very confusing.

Organization needs to rethink its market strategy. Most mangers are okay while a very small number of mangers are excellent

Great people with long tenure. IBM has managed a solid culture by hiring great people who are willing to assist at every level. They missed the boat for being a competitive hyperscaler in the cloud space but have made strong acquisitions and good investments in quantum computing.
