Overall, it is a good company with competitive salaries and favorable working conditions. The company culture feels outdated, and opportunities for career advancement are limited. Meritocracy is virtually non-existent; progression depends more on how well you get along with your manager and your willingness to embrace an entrenched corporate culture—something that has become even more pronounced since the merger between MicroFocus and OpenText.

I've been with OpenText almost 15 years. Obviously I wouldn't have stayed this long if there was not good opportunities and they were an above average option in most dimensions.
