Oracle can be a complex organization to navigate. Learning to sell the deal internally can be as challenging as selling to your customer or prospect. Oracle is the first time in my career that I am both hunter and farmer. Pluses and minuses. Amazing technology. Wealth of resources. Deep industry partnerships. Never bet against Larry Ellison. About a 2 year learning curve before you start to feel comfortable navigating an extremely large organization with a self help culture. Opportunities abound, identify and align with a strong mentor or coach and be prepared to work. There is money to be made.

Oracle is a good school, especially suitable for new joiners in the tech industry to gain brand on your CV, to get your foot into IT and to adjust yourself in a large self-service corporation.
