Oracle is a great place to work, make money in sales and have relative job security in the face of mass layoffs and RIFs that have impacted tech over the past few year. Oracle is a sales company first and foremost, with a lot of the license-related deals and cloud growth centered on maintaining compliance and maximizing footprint with strategic consumption plans. The technology is definitely cutting-edge, but company is run by sales leaders and lawyers. You will meet a lot of great folks there and if you have a good patch (ie good install base or net new ISV logos) you have a good chance of make a lot of cash.

Great - good organization with great product. Just difficult penetrating the infra market that has been saturated by aws.
