Overall my experience was negative. I personally did well and exceeded quota making good money for myself. However, most reps do not hit quota and the territories are comically nonsensical. The data is generally horrible and for a fortune 100 software company you will spend more time on excel and battling terrible systems than you could imagine. The culture particularly from management is very antiquated and unpleasant. Can be good for promotions potentially as it is a massive organization.

My experience as a BDR at Oracle has been both rewarding and challenging. Oracle’s extensive training and resources empowered me to engage effectively with prospects. However, the high volume of leads and complex sales cycles required strong adaptability. Overall, it was a valuable experience that enhanced my skills cold outreach to enterprise accounts.
