Overall experience has been positive due to my prior leadership. Your experience is primarily dependent on who you work for and what they shield/protect you from. Went through re-org, received new accounts, lost old ones, new comp plans, with unrealistic quotas based on past performance and avg deal size/volume. Comp plan is based on closing large transformational deals, although we constantly run into capacity issues and can't fulfill large orders/deals. Oracle Sr leadership acts like this isn't an issue, but any experience seller whose been here 3+ yrs knows we dont have capacity in any region. Especially for new CPU/GPU shapes.

Nashville office leadership is tragic and creates a toxic environments. Compensation is never what you expected, always $2,000-3,000 lower than expected. Hard to hit your number. Always changing managers, teams, territories, and overall structure.

Oracle’s culture overall is difficult to manage. Product offerings are relevant and very competitive in their respective target markets. The entire culture and operations are not in sync and internal colleagues can at times be competition.
