My overall experience was good. Podium is a great place to develop your skills and move up quickly as an Account Executive. However, the path to sales leadership is risky and concerning. Many AE sales managers get promoted and then a good amount, about 50% either quit and leave or they self-demote themselves back to a Sr. AE role. Leadership is lacking. There is very little value put on employees as people. Employees are very easily treated as a number that is always replaceable.

Terrible leadership at the top. Managers act like they care, only a couple of them do. I was part of trimming the fat in August when there were reps who played the game and are still there. Top reps are scumbags, culture is absolutely garbage. If you are hot, you'll get any deal you want, even if it makes no sense and it is against all the rules. Garbage.

Loved my time at Podium. Seems like there has been some pretty amazing product updates since I've left to make it a stronger offering. They perform extremely well in the home services and automotive verticals. I think there are some great front line leaders there, but that can be hit or miss. Leadership at the top can be a little be intense and emotional.
