The company has a reputation in the market making it easier to start sales conversations. Half the product offering sells itself while the other half is on life support. The best leaders have left the company over the last two years. Current exec team lacks leadership and vision while management is mostly made up of men who are part of the bro club. Less and less managers have the ability to help develop newer reps. Currently owned by private equity firm that just laid off 780 employees with another 700-800 being let go in March ‘24.

Executive and senior leadership has become increasingly disconnected from front-line sales. So much bad news to deliver (return to office, selling company - again, taking away equity, multiple layoffs, outsourcing support roles overseas, etc.) I think they have isolated themselves in a way to protect them from the inevitable angst from front-line employees. I was a top performing SDR and it took me 3 years to promote to AE. Once I promoted to AE I wasn't given any onboarding, mentor, or direction on how to transition into the new role. Leadership is always changing. Our product roadmap is always in beta. Internal processes are overcomplicated for no reason.
