Current Employee Continued changes to compensation have made it difficult to earn simply the same amount as prior years. Private equity is squeezing teams, we wear multiple hats that include, customer support, renewals, net new. We have a renewal quota in addition to a net new number but our back end teams like finance, legal, deal support...etc essentially are telling sales reps how they can sell a product, at what price point. We have lost the ability to sell a deal how we see fit, mixed with the horrendous internal workflows (approval processes, ticketing, legal review/changes...etc.) are why less than 20% of reps are hitting quota.
