Current Employee Good for your resume.
They’re clearly hiring a lot of AEs right now to stay competitive in the AI space, though it’s hard to say how successful that strategy and product will be.
Management tends to focus heavily on KPIs — mostly around activity metrics that can be easily inflated — and on your closed ACV, which depends a lot on the accounts you’re assigned.
It can get pretty political, too. If you’ve been at the company for a while, you’ll likely get the better accounts. But if you join as an external hire, be prepared to have a slower start, sell less in your first few months, and definitely feel the pressure — with very little you can do about it. Current Employee Happy at Salesforce, even if doing business can be tough those days.
