Overall it is decent but there are competitors in the space who make significantly more. Salesforce needs to start to innovate better, there are a lot of competitors and Microsoft is doing well these days.

In my experience it really depended who your manager was. Promotions were increasingly more and more difficult in customer success and got more nuanced. If your boss was lazy or didn’t have time to help you get promoted, it wouldn’t happen even if you tried hard and were overdue. Since the layoffs I’ve heard the culture has depleted.
