Salesforce has taken a turn for the worse. Managers are all people who sold when Salesforce was taking off and expect their AEs to perform at a similar rate even though territories are spread extremely thin. Management prefers quick deals over long term success of customers and everyone only cares about hitting their number so they can get promoted, but only 20% of AEs do. High anxiety, boiler room mentality.

Salesforce is great, however territory, timing and talent do play a big role here. Asides from that, great people, and good earning potential if you’re able to survive long enough.
