Former Employee Absolutely loved my time with Salesforce and would go back to the company in a heartbeat! The people and the company really care about you and your success. They care about work/life balance and making sure that your family needs are met. However, I come from a very different type of sales background and found the transition exceedingly difficult. There is a lot to learn, a lot of products to sell, and I was not as familiar with my vertical as I thought I was. There are plenty (if not too many) enablement trainings, but these are always changing and it felt like each week or 10 days the focus completely shifted. I also felt that there were competing priorities due to the structure. An AE would be focusing on certain things while your BDR team would be focusing on something else. Again, the company does a great job showing you how to focus on their "plays" but not neccesarily training for outbound sales and prospecting. I love the company, but I don't believe I was in the right role for my skill set. Browse Other Reviews
