Former Employee Salesforce can be a great opportunity if you join the right business unit, report to the right leaders, and support accounts at the right times during their buying cycle. Large customers buy via ELAs, so if you join after a large deal closes you will be in a risky spot until the customer consumes enough of their deal content to buy more. Also, stay clear of global accounts unless you are in the HQ country - Salesforce does not have equitable revenue sharing practices for markets outside of HQ.
