Former Employee I think Samsara was a great company, but the sales cycles, product, and the customers I found to be boring. In the vast majority of cases you were selling a product that customers perceived to be commodity unless it happened to have the exact couple of features that they were looking for, they could buy Samsara or a slew of other similar products. Essentially it was trying to sell really fancy dash cams to people who didn't really want dash cams. That's an over simplification, but in essence that's what it was. Absolutely an innovator in this space. It's hard to get people to care about innovation when they've not innovated in 30 years.
