Smartsheet is an industry leader and has a more functional product for enterprise customers than its direct competitors. Growth/promotion opportunities in the sales organization are linear. The CRO has written out strict criteria for sales promotions that in my opinion makes career growth prospects at Smartsheet more limited than other companies. The company is not issuing stock as often as much as it was in 2020-2022 (naturally, given economic conditions and company growth).

The culture is fantastic, the work/life balance feels great so far and the team is incredibly collaborative and willing to help. Great PMF and lots of potential to make money here.

The entire C Suite has churned over the last 1.5 years. Most recently, the CEO decided to “retire” and the CRO is bailing after a little over a year. No word on replacements. We also dont have a CMO or CFO at the moment. Numerous product issues have seriously damaged customer trust and the remaining employees capable of correcting course are leaving in droves.
