Question

What is the lay of the land with Large Enterprise, is there a good product market fit? Is there a healthy inbound lead flow? Do reps hit their quota? Any insight appreciated :)

It is really not looking good at Sprout right now. A couple of years ago, it used to be a great organization, but there is no clear path to success anymore. The leadership team doesn't really know what they are doing. They hire a bunch of salesforce folks and play the game of only giving the best accounts to those individuals. It's either you are doing well or you are not doing well (no in-between).  It is a hard market to be in right now.

I joined Sprout because quota attainment was high and then they followed the same overhiring playbook every other sales org did during the pandemic.

There are promises to fix it, but I see no path to success. Sprout salespeople made a lot of money partnering with Salesforce and then rip and replacing Sprinklr, but now that they've captured the low hanging fruit of that market share, it's not even possible to attain what was previously done.

Quota attainment is very low across teams. Quota used to be consistently attainable. It’s very unlikely to be on target just make your OTE which causes morale issues(it’s not fun when everyone on your team misses their number and doesn’t get paid). Frustrated, hardworking, talented,reps are leaving

Can only speak to EMEA, but it’s been a challenging segment over the past year. Saying that, if you’ve solid outbound experience and willing to think creatively then it could be very interesting. But it’s not the type of role where inbound will get you to quota, inbound primarily lands with SMB.

It’s a very difficult environment at the moment, outside of a few teams in the US HQ who are hitting quota.
