Current Employee I have worked in the agent sales and acquisitions org for several years. Gone through several re-orgs, re-structures, changes to comp… there’s at least 2 significant org changes every year that will impact how you sell and impact your commissions. Unfortunately every change has negatively affected my commission in some way. This most recent one in Q1 has been the most significant.
The high level exces, VP, SVP, Director seem to be disconnected with the challenges on the floor. We have 2 quotas to hit monthly, very few hit both. The comp plan on paper is good and there is potential to make good money, but with the current structure, most cannot hit. Overall I love Zillow as a company. Great co-workers and lower level management. But stay away from Agent sales and acquisitions right now there are too many challenges and factors working against us and consider the rentals org that looks to be thriving
