Zoominfo’s MM organization needs serious leadership restructuring. The head of MM focuses all of our time filling out spreadsheets, instead of actually selling. There’s also a huge push to keep track of our slack “active” status, our calendar events, and other activities. I’m all for tracking KPIs, but it truly feels like we have lost a lot of freedom. Additionally, our CEO, Henry, went on a full on rant about how if you don’t want to RTO, you should meet with your manager to schedule your exit interview and leave the company. All in all, I have learned a lot from ZoomInfo, but will probably be leaving at the end of the year. It is truly unfortunate, because our product is great and fun to sell, but I no longer enjoy coming to work every day.

This company seems to be obsessed with making their workers lives harder while pay stays the same. Changes are made every 4-6 months so you can never get in a rhythm or workflow, and these changes seem to make zero sense and usually make your life harder. I’ve really enjoyed zoominfo. Its fast paced, competitive, expectations are high and also clear cut. You’ll have the opportunity if you want to pivot or move up. You have to earn it but the opportunity is there. I see myself here for years to come.
