Twilio Segment continues to be a product being squeezed by a competitive CDP landscape with lower cost options. Most companies don’t need the advanced features we sell, so we rely on our brand reputation and selling the future vision to win deals.

Leadership is clueless. Micro managing and toxic environment. Reasonable compensation but poor leaders to work with.

I have a fantastic manager and team, however I have many peers who don't feel the same about their manager. Talent acquisition has definitely gone down and we aren't hiring the right people. Segment has raised quotas for H2 an obscene amount. The new quota was only hit by one NA ENT rep in H1 and amounts to a 10% pay cut. Short sighted move by a company pushing for more AE pipe gen because they can't figure out how to message in ways that will resonate with the market.
