Director, SE Enablement

Job Description

As a member of the Sales team, the Director of SE Enablement will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Sales Engineers by developing and executing comprehensive enablement programs. Your focus will be on enhancing the technical proficiency, strategic acumen, and customer-facing capabilities of our SE professionals. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with a proven track record in sales engineering and a passion for developing and empowering technical teams. This is a remote position, candidates must be located in the US.


Strategic Enablement Programs:

- Develop and implement strategic SE enablement programs that align with business goals and sales strategies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SE enablement initiatives within the broader sales enablement framework.


Technical Training and Development:

- Design and deliver technical training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of the SE team, ensuring they are well-equipped to articulate the value of Saviynt's converged platform.

- Foster continuous learning and development to keep the SE team abreast of industry trends, product updates, and emerging technologies.


Sales Collaboration:

- Work closely with sales leadership to align SE enablement initiatives with sales objectives, providing technical support to drive successful customer engagements.

- Facilitate collaboration between SEs and other sales and marketing teams, ensuring a cohesive and customer-centric approach.


Content and Resource Creation:

-Develop and curate a repository of technical content, tools, and resources that support the SE team in their customer-facing activities.

-Collaborate with subject matter experts to create compelling and impactful technical collateral.

-Research existing enablement content, leveraging it where possible, and adjusting as needed to ensure relevance and effectiveness.


Performance Measurement and Optimization:

- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of SE enablement programs.

- Continuously assess and optimize enablement initiatives based on feedback, performance data, and evolving business needs.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in information systems or related discipline, or demonstration of equivalent knowledge such as technical certifications from ISACA, (ISC)², AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Security Engineer, etc.

- Minimum of 4 years previous Solutions Engineering experience.

- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively

- Effective communication skills both verbally and written.

- Domain expertise - Privileged Access Management, Identity Governance and Administration, Application GRC, and/or Cloud Security preferred.

- Experience in the Identity Governance and Administration domain with a firm grasp of its concepts such as Identity Life Cycle Management, Entitlements Management, Access Request, Workflow, Policy and Role Management, Access Certification, Audit, Reporting/Analytics, and Deployment Scenarios is preferable.

- Superior communication, relationship, and partner/customer service skills that result in the ability to rapidly assess needs and sell solutions with/through sophisticated Partners

- Exemplary technical skills enabling configuration and rapid problem-solving in the field including: Database query experience in a relational database environment (MySQL and Elastic Search)Experience with Groovy, PowerShell, and Graph API Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols and standards including SAML, OAuth/2, SCIM, OpenID, WS-Trust, SPNEGO, x.509, SPML, Kerberos, REST, JSON, and others that facilitate Single Sign-On (SSO), ID federation, etc.

- Basic understanding of networking technologies such as HTTP, TCP/IP, firewalls, and encryption

- Preferred: Understanding of data governance concepts and compliance regulations such as GDPR & CCPA

- Experience with regulatory compliance and security frameworks such as SOX, NERC-CIP, HIPAA, Cobit, Center for Internet Security (CIS), Cloud Security Alliance, NIST, PCI, etc.

- Experience with AzureAD, Okta UD, JumpCloud, OneLogin, Ping Directory, Active Directory, eDirectory, Oracle Internet Directory, Radiant Logic, and other Cloud/LDAP/Virtual directories
