We're seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join our Customer Solutions team. In this role, you'll be responsible for onboarding & implementing new customers, helping existing customers achieve value from our products, and enabling our growing number of delivery partners. You'll collaborate closely with our Customer Success, Product, Partner Sales, Support, and Services teams. This is an exciting opportunity to be the first Solution Architect/Snr for Supermetrics in the growing JAPAC region, where you'll get to support a variety of customer areas.

You will make an impact by…

Onboarding our high-value customers:  

  • Onboarding new DWH customers with our Success team to help customers achieve quick time to value and reach the initial goals set when purchasing Supermetrics
  • Project managing the onboarding stage of the customer journey, from Sales & Solution Engineering handover to Onboarding completion
  • Providing technical training, acting as a product expert, and consulting the customer on best practices and use cases
  • Taking an active approach to developing our onboarding process, documentation, and collaboration with other teams

Help customers achieve value:

  • Working with existing customers to understand their business challenges and identify how Supermetrics can help them achieve their goals
  • Designing and prototyping new functionality to meet the needs of customers
  • Resolving customers' technical issues and owning urgent priority escalations
  • Developing a deep understanding of the Supermetrics products, working closely with our support and product development teams to resolve critical technical issues.
  • Documenting and delivering product feedback and new customer requirements to the Supermetrics product development team.
  • Understanding the fundamentals of the entire data stack and quickly learn new data systems to support Customer Success, Support, and Services teams
  • Following product releases and new features, assisting in training new hires and colleagues.

Expert Services & Delivery Partner Collaboration:

  • We have an Expert Services team in our Helsinki HQ and are expanding our implementation partner network in JAPAC
  • You'll have the opportunity to be the first person in the region to deliver selected Services projects
  • You'll work with our Partner Sales & Solution colleagues to help enable new delivery partners in the JAPAC region

This role is for you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role.
  • Possible technical domains could be a data warehouse or ETL specialist, data engineering, analytics engineering, or cloud consulting.
  • Marketing domain knowledge is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent project management skills. 
  • Excellent skills in presenting to technical and executive audiences, on a call or whiteboard, or using presentations and demos.
  • Ability to influence technical audiences in their language and business audiences by translating complex technology concepts into understandable components.
  • Hands-on expertise with data modeling using SQL and SQL-based analytics. Dbt, Python and/or R are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with one tool from each category are expected:
    • BI and Dashboarding Technologies: Tableau, PowerBI, Looker Studio, Qlik, Chartio
    • Cloud Data Warehouses: Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly known as Azure SQL Data Warehouse), Amazon Redshift
    • Development tools & Data modeling: Looker, dbt, Dataform
  • Cloud Infrastructure Providers: AWS, GCP, Azure
