AWS is still a great place to work after 4 years, I enjoy the sales culture, people I work with, and the company continues to deliver for customers. Once you establish yourself at AWS, you can take your career anywhere internally or externally as I have been promoted 3 times during my tenure. The downsides to consider, culture is very different than other companies and the promo process can be dragging.

Being the 800 lbs gorilla of cloud has its perks. Customers are always willing to pick up the phone when you call. Unfortunately the culture of AWS is brutal. Nobody has time to help a colleague learn the ropes... Very sink or swim mentality.
